Dibakar Banerjee, a renowned Indian film director and screenwriter, was born in the year 1969. He is widely recognized for his work on a variety of films, including Khosla Ka Ghosla, released in 2006, and Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, which he also penned, both of which garnered National Film Awards. Prior to establishing himself as a film director, Banerjee began his career in the advertising industry and continues to work as an ad filmmaker to this day.
In addition to his work in the film industry, Banerjee also directed a Coca Cola commercial in 2010. He made his third film, Love Sex aur Dhokha, in the same year. One of the three sub-plots in this movie is loosely based on the infamous 2004 DPS MMS scandal.
