Brian Frederick Hines, professionally known as Denny Laine, was a multi-talented English musician, vocalist, and songwriter, who played a pivotal role in the formation of two prominent rock bands: The Moody Blues, with whom he collaborated from 1964 to 1966, and Wings, with whom he shared the stage from 1971 to 1981. Throughout his illustrious six-decade-long career, Laine has had the privilege of working alongside a diverse array of artists and groups, and continues to record and perform as a solo artist to this day.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the music industry, Laine was inducted into the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018, as a member of The Moody Blues.
During his tenure with Wings, Laine had the distinction of co-writing the iconic song "Mull of Kintyre" alongside the legendary Paul McCartney.
