David James Lewis is a Canadian actor born on August 4, 1976. He is perhaps best known for his roles in the PAX series Hope Island, where he played Kevin Mitchum from 1999 to 2000, and in the 1999 film Lake Placid, in which he portrayed Walt Lawson.
In addition to his work in television and film, Lewis has also made appearances in numerous other projects, including The Butterfly Effect 2. He currently stars as Richard Allen in the CBS series Harper's Island, and is set to appear in the upcoming movie Icarus, directed by Dolph Lundgren and starring as Mr. Graham.
Throughout his career, Lewis has had a prolific output, appearing in almost 100 movies and television shows. One of his notable achievements is winning a Cannes Film Festival award in 2000 for Best Short Film in the movie Shoes Off.
