David John Jeffery was born in Southampton, England in 1977, and his life experience has been shaped by extensive travel and residency across the United Kingdom, Europe, and Russia, allowing him to develop a profound understanding of various cultures, arts, and nations.
As a young boy, David's passion for the arts began to flourish, and he started composing music for multiple instruments, capturing still images, and honing his skills in photography, which earned him awards by the age of 13.
As he entered his teenage years, David's interests expanded to the dramatic arts, and he began studying various dance styles, including ballroom, country, waltz, and tap, as well as training to become an actor. He performed in numerous productions at the Hawth Theatre near London Gatwick Airport, including a musical adaptation of Shakespeare's 'The Taming of the Shrew' and 'The Tolpuddle Martyrs'.
At 14, David started exploring his creative side through writing, working on a series of satirical plays, 'Don't Call Me Irvin', and attempting to write novels. It wasn't until his teenage years that he began researching and writing his debut novel, 'GOD Tech: Mark of the Beast', which would eventually become a bestseller.
David continued to develop his skills in various artistic fields, including graphic design, where he created costumes, patterns, drawings, and writings for garments. He also worked in stage pyrotechnics and lighting.
By the age of 17, David decided to pursue a career as a Disc Jockey, a path he followed from 1995 to 2010. During this time, he honed his skills in lighting and sound, and he even won an award for Best Karaoke DJ in West London in 2022.
In addition to his DJing career, David also spent time as a Youth Leader, overseeing teams of teenagers and producing and directing various short films and music videos, including the successful 'Hope 16'.
In 2010, 'GOD Tech: Mark of the Beast' was finally published, reaching number 2 in the book charts under the Religious Science Fiction category.
After the publication of his novel, David decided to pursue his passion for filmmaking, establishing his own production company, Invisible Sword Productions Ltd (formerly Black Light Enterprises Ltd),and producing short films, documentaries, and music videos. His work has received recognition in various film competitions, including 2nd place Best Film at the Catford Film Festival in London for 'You've Got Instagram' in 2018 and 4th place Best Film at the London 48 Hour Film Project for 'I'm in Love with my Stalker' in 2021.
David's next step was to direct a feature film based on his bestseller, 'G.O.D.TECH'.
