Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Dave Alspach was instilled with an unyielding passion for performing daring stunts from a young age. At the tender age of 18, he embarked on a thrilling journey as a professional diver with the renowned "John D. O'Keefe Aqua Revue", touring the majestic Pocono and Catskill Mountains. This fearless stunt daredevil would often set himself ablaze and plunge into a pool 60 feet below his platform, defying the boundaries of human endurance.
As he entered his early twenties, Dave's insatiable thirst for adventure led him to join an elite Special Forces Team, where he served three years in Vietnam, honing his skills and developing an unshakeable sense of courage. Upon his return to the United States, his fascination with the entertainment industry only intensified, driving him to pursue a career in acting.
Dave's early forays into the world of theater saw him study and perform at the esteemed Guthsville Playhouse, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Jack Lemon and other luminaries, as well as other regional theaters throughout the northeast. Despite the challenges of making ends meet, he continued to hone his craft, securing acting jobs in New York theaters and receiving invaluable guidance from esteemed coaches and producers such as Joel Tellis and Blair Cutting.
In 2000, Dave co-founded the "Best Little Playhouse in Tampa", a non-profit corporation dedicated to providing the Tampa Bay area with professional theatrical productions while donating the proceeds to local children's charities. His tireless efforts earned him widespread recognition and admiration within the community.
Eventually, Dave made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles in pursuit of his dream as an actor, producer, and writer. Over the years, he achieved numerous successes, cementing his reputation as a talented and dedicated artist. Although he has since returned to Louisiana to be closer to his daughter and five grandchildren, Dave continues to pursue his passion, remaining committed to his craft and inspiring others with his unwavering dedication to his art.
Throughout his life, Dave Alspach has consistently defied mediocrity, embracing challenges and pushing the boundaries of what is possible. His remarkable journey serves as a testament to the power of perseverance, creativity, and an unrelenting passion for the performing arts.
