Damian Robert Chapa is a Mexican-American actor, film director, and film producer born on October 29, 1963, in Dayton, Ohio, USA.
He was briefly married to Natasha Henstridge and appeared in notable films such as Taylor Hackford's Blood In Blood Out and the film adaptation of Street Fighter, where he played the part of Ken.
Chapa has since directed and produced his own films, including Kill You Twice, The Lonely Life of Downey Hall, Man of Faith, Shade of Pale, El Padrino, and I.R.A.: King of Nothing.
He co-wrote and directed Polanski Unauthorized, a biopic of Roman Polanski, in which he played the title role, and released on February 13, 2009, in Los Angeles, California.
Chapa also directed Brando Unauthorized, a film about Marlon Brando, and Vatos Locos, an action film about the Chinese mafia in Los Angeles and the Mexican gang boys who fought back and defeated them.
As of 2011, Chapa is developing an indie drama titled The Best So Far, which takes place in the late 80's and follows the story of a small-town Canadian girl who loves Judo and dreams of being a finalist at the '88 Olympics.
Chapa wrote the drama and will play the role of the widowed father, who does his best to make life easier for his daughter.
