Miura Daisuke, a multifaceted artist, is a playwright, director, and film director, as well as the president of the esteemed theater company "Potudor". Born in the year 1975, Miura hails from Tomakomai city, located in the northernmost island of Japan, Hokkaido.
His educational background is marked by his attendance at Muroran Sakae High School, where he pursued a Science and Mathematics Course, followed by his graduation from Waseda University's Second Literature Department.
In the year 1996, Miura's creative endeavors took a significant turn as he co-founded the theater unit Potsudoru, which was established based on the Waseda University Theater Club. This marked the beginning of his illustrious career, during which he has created a plethora of works, including the semi-documentary series "Knight Club", "Physical Examination", "Make Love", and "Tropical Video", among others.
Throughout his career, Miura has demonstrated a remarkable versatility, effortlessly transitioning between various roles, from playwright and director to film director, and even taking on the leadership of his own theater company, "Potudor".
