Dai Henwood, a multifaceted individual, has made a name for himself as a comedian and interpretive dancer in New Zealand. He is widely recognized for hosting various television shows on C4, in addition to his stand-up comedy performances.
Born in 1978 to Ray and Carolyn Henwood, Dai's academic background includes studying Theatre and Film at Victoria University of Wellington, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Eastern Religions. His impressive start in the comedy world began with winning 'Best New Face' on TV2's Pulp Comedy in 1999 and a Billy T Award in 2002.
Throughout his career, Dai has showcased his talents through various tours, including The Hot Stepper in 2004 and Champagne Table Tennis in 2005. He has also performed at the Tokyo Comedy Store and in Melbourne, as well as around Britain. His great-grandfather, Dick Jones, was a renowned Welsh international rugby player.
