Clive Wood, a renowned English actor, was born in 1954 in Croydon, Surrey. He made his mark on television with his first starring role as Vic Brown in the 1982 ITV drama series A Kind of Loving, opposite Joanne Whalley and Susan Penhaligon.
Throughout his illustrious career, Wood has taken on a wide range of characters. He played Matt Kerr in the popular television series Press Gang, DCI Gordon Wray in The Bill, and Jack Morgan in London's Burning. His versatility was further showcased when he portrayed Captain Smollett in the 1990 TV film Treasure Island, having previously played Dick in the 1977 BBC version.
Wood's impressive repertoire also includes a cameo appearance as an Auton masquerading as a Roman commander in the Doctor Who episode The Pandorica Opens.
