Christine Fernandes Alves, an American-born Brazilian actress, television presenter, and former model, was born on March 1, 1968. At the tender age of 16 in 1984, she was approached by a professional from a fashion agency who invited her to take a pathogenic test, ultimately leading her to pursue a career in modeling that same year.
The following year, 1985, she relocated to the United States, where she continued to model while also completing her high school education. Additionally, she joined the faculty of journalism, although she did not finish her studies.
In 1992, Christine Fernandes Alves made the bold decision to move to Japan, where she spent the next two years honing her modeling skills. After this period, she returned to Brazil in 1994 to pursue her passion for theater, enrolling in Globo's Actors Workshop.
Prior to her formal training, Christine Fernandes Alves was selected for a test at the Actors Workshop of Rede Globo, ultimately landing her first television appearance in the novel Quatro por Quatro (1995) penned by Carlos Lombardi. The following year, renowned writer Manoel Carlos took notice of her talent and bestowed upon her a significant role in the television series História de Amor.
