Cassadee Blake Pope, born on August 28, 1989, is a multifaceted American artist, boasting a triple threat of talents as a singer, songwriter, and musician. She rose to fame as the lead vocalist of the rock band Hey Monday, which was placed on hiatus as of December 2011, during which time the group released two studio albums and three EPs.
As Pope's solo career began to take shape in early 2012, she released the EP Cassadee Pope in May of that year, marking the start of her journey as a solo artist. However, her breakout moment arrived when she participated in the third season of the reality television singing competition, The Voice, and made history by becoming the first female winner on December 18, 2012.
Following her triumph on The Voice, Pope went on to release her debut solo country album, Frame by Frame, on October 8, 2013, which garnered significant commercial success. The album charted in the top 10 on the Billboard 200, and debuted at the number one spot on the Top Country Albums chart, with an impressive 43,000 copies sold in its first week.
