Brynn Hartman, whose birth name was Vicki Jo Omdahl, was a multifaceted individual who wore several hats, including those of a model, actress, and wife to the renowned Phil Hartman, a talented comedian and actor, best known for his work on Saturday Night Live and News Radio.
As a swimsuit model, Brynn garnered a few minor acting roles, including several episodes of the popular television show 3rd Rock From The Sun, showcasing her versatility and range as an actress.
However, Brynn's personal life was marred by struggles with addiction, having been sober for nearly a decade from a habit of alcohol and cocaine use. Unfortunately, she had recently relapsed, and was mixing her drug and alcohol use with her prescribed anti-depressants, which, due to the risk of violent rage in some individuals, specifically prohibited such mixing.
As a result of her struggles, Brynn was facing a likely divorce from her husband, Phil Hartman. The tension in their relationship came to a head after a heated argument about her drug and alcohol use, which ultimately led to a tragic event.
In the early hours of the morning, after Phil Hartman had gone to bed, Brynn shot him in his sleep. She then took her own life later that morning, leaving behind two orphaned children.
