Bishop Stevens, a former professional wrestler turned actor, embarked on a new career path in 2014. Prior to this, he trained under the tutelage of the legendary 8-time champion Harley Race and signed with World Championship Wrestling, which was later acquired by the World Wrestling Federation (now known as WWE). Early in his acting career, Bishop made appearances on various popular network and cable television shows, including AMC's The Walking Dead, FOX's Empire, and NBC's Chicago PD. His breakthrough role came when he landed a guest starring part on the Verizon go90 series Embeds, starring Don Tieri and Alexis Zalar.
In recent years, Stevens has established himself as one of the Midwest's fastest-rising movie actors, securing roles in four major Hollywood motion pictures set for release in 2018. These films include Nicolas Cage's Mom and Dad, Chance the Rapper's Slice, Colin Ford's Family Blood, and Ellen Page's My Days of Mercy. Additionally, Bishop landed starring roles in three other Hollywood films, including LockDown, developed by High Point Pictures and starring veteran actor Michael Pare', Thy Neighbor, developed by Homesick Media and nominated for five awards at the 2018 International Christian Film Festival (ICFF),including best picture, and No Good Heroes, a Syfy alien film also starring veteran actor Tim O'Leary.
Beyond his acting pursuits, Bishop is a motivational speaker and fitness enthusiast. He has gained significant recognition on the SyFy and Horror convention circuit, making guest appearances at conventions throughout the Midwest.
