Beverly Todd is a multi-talented American artist, born on July 11, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois. She is the daughter of Virena Todd (née Skinner). Throughout her illustrious career, Todd has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry, particularly during the 1970s, with notable film appearances such as The Lost Man (1969),They Call Me MISTER Tibbs! (1970),Brother John (1971),and A Piece of the Action (1977).
Todd's remarkable work led to more distinguished and important projects, earning her memorable roles in Lean on Me and Crash. In 2007, she reunited with Morgan Freeman, co-starring alongside him in The Bucket List, where she played his on-screen wife.
In her personal life, Todd was previously married to film producer Kris Keiser, with whom she had a son named Malik Smith. Unfortunately, Malik passed away on March 20, 1989, at the age of eighteen, after being severely beaten at a nightclub during spring break.
