Ashley Marie Massaro, a multifaceted American personality, left an indelible mark in the world of professional wrestling, reality television, television hosting, modeling, and radio broadcasting.
Massaro's foray into the world of professional wrestling began in 2005, when she won the coveted WWE Diva Search, securing her spot as a WWE talent. Initially, she was assigned to the Raw brand, where she engaged in a riveting feud against the villainous female stable, Vince's Devils. Her alliance with Trish Stratus proved to be a pivotal moment in her career, as they collectively took on the newly debuted Mickie James, who was consumed by her obsession with Stratus and her jealousy of Ashley's friendship with her.
Massaro's trajectory took a dramatic turn when she was drafted to SmackDown!, where she became the valet for the WWE Tag Team Champions, Paul London and Brian Kendrick. Her most notable matches included a WWE Women's Championship bout against Melina at WrestleMania 23 and a Playboy Bunnymania Lumberjill match at WrestleMania XXIV.
In July 2008, Massaro bid farewell to the WWE, leaving behind a legacy that extended far beyond the world of professional wrestling. During her tenure with the company, she had graced the covers of numerous magazines, including the April 2007 issue of Playboy, and made appearances on television and in music videos. In the latter years of her life, Massaro pursued a new passion, working as a radio DJ for 94.3 The Shark for the final two years of her life.
