Armand Schaefer, a Canadian film producer and director, was born on August 5, 1898, in Tavistock, Ontario, Canada. With a prolific career spanning over two decades, he produced an impressive total of over 100 films between 1932 and 1953. Not only was he a skilled producer, but he also demonstrated his versatility by directing 24 films between 1931 and 1946.
Throughout his illustrious career, Schaefer collaborated with notable individuals, including Gene Autry. From 1955 to 1956, he co-executive produced the popular Dickie Jones western television series, Buffalo Bill, Jr., alongside Autry.
