Anchali Sirachaya, also known as Aranya Namwong or Piak, is a renowned Thai actress who has made a lasting impact in the entertainment industry. Born as Anchali Choppradit, she rose to fame after being the runner-up in the 1964 Miss Thailand pageant.
As a talented actress, she went on to become the lead actress in numerous Thai films throughout the 1970s, often sharing the screen with the legendary Sombat Metanee. Her popularity extended beyond Thailand's borders, as she gained a significant following in Cambodia after starring in the prequel to the award-winning film, The Snake King's Wife, alongside the celebrated Khmer actress Dy Saveth.
In another notable collaboration, she took on a leading role in the Thai-Khmer film Love across Hoirzotal, alongside the prominent Khmer actor Chea Yutatorn. Her recent film credits include The Legend of Suriyothai, The Bodyguard, Unborn, and The Mother.
Away from the screen, Anchali is married to Setha Sirichaya, the lead singer of the popular Thai band The Impossibles.
