Anna Falchi, born Anna Kristiina Palomäki on April 22, 1972, in Tampere, Finland, is the daughter of an Italian father, Benito (Tito),and a Finnish mother, Karina. She has a brother, Saro, and a half-brother, Peter, in Sweden, sharing the same father.
At the age of six, Anna moved to Italy with her family in 1978. She began her career as a model and first appeared on television in a commercial for an Italian bank in 1992, starring alongside Paolo Villaggio and directed by the renowned Federico Fellini. This commercial marked the beginning of her film career, starting with "Nel continente nero" ("On the Dark Continent") in 1993.
Since then, Anna has appeared in numerous films, including the 1994 fantasy movie "Desideria" e "L'Anello del Drago", the 1997 film "La principessa e il povero", and the 2005 comedy "Nessun messaggio in segreteria". She has also become a popular television personality, hosting various specials on Italian television.
Anna is less well-known in the English-speaking world, but some may recognize her as the lead female in the film "Dellamorte Dellamore", which was released in the U.S. as "Cemetery Man".
