Andrew Fetterly Wilkes-Krier, better known as Andrew W.K., is a multi-talented American artist born on May 9, 1979. This accomplished musician, singer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, record producer, and motivational speaker has made a name for himself by blending rock, metal, and pop music styles with energetic anthems that celebrate the joys of partying.
Growing up in Michigan, Wilkes-Krier's passion for music began in the mid-1990s. He spent his early years performing with various local bands before relocating to New York City, where he started producing music under his professional name, Andrew W.K.
In 2000, Wilkes-Krier released the EP Girls Own Juice, which initially gained him recognition within the music industry. However, it was his debut studio album, I Get Wet, released in November 2001, that catapulted him to widespread fame.
