Tomite Ami, a notable figure in the world of Japanese pop culture, began her journey with AKB48 as a Kenkyuusei on September 2, 2009. However, her tenure with the renowned idol group was short-lived, as she graduated from the Kenkyuusei program, specifically the 3rd Kenkyuusei Selection, on December 4, 2009.
Following her departure from AKB48, Tomite Ami shifted her focus to the gravure industry, releasing a total of nine DVDs between 2010 and 2014. Her success in this field led to her being frequently cast in various movies, including the critically acclaimed "Riaru Onigokko," which co-starred the talented Shinoda Mariko. Additionally, Tomite Ami has also appeared in "Eiga Minna! Esupa Dayo!", a film that featured the popular Itano Tomomi.
