In 1587, Hugh O'Donnell, the newly appointed Prince of Donegal, strives to unite Ireland against English rule. However, his plans are derailed when he's kidnapped and imprisoned by the Viceroy of Ireland, who demands good behavior from the Clans in exchange for Hugh's freedom. With the help of his loyal followers, Hugh must devise a daring escape from the Viceroy's clutches and outwit the ruthless Captain Leeds to reclaim his rightful place and lead the fight against England.
