Two inmates, Carl Monroe and 'Joker' Johnson, are transported to a new prison, but their animosity towards each other leads to a violent altercation, causing their transport to crash. As they escape, chained together, they must navigate the wilderness while being pursued by the sheriff, all while their mutual hatred for each other intensifies.
