In this dramatic tale, a young farmer's son finds himself torn between loyalty to his family and forbidden love for the alluring daughter of the plantation owner, amidst the backdrop of a tumultuous owner-tenant conflict.

Marvin, a sharecropper's son, fights to uplift his community from poverty and lack of knowledge. Working at the local general store, he discovers the owner has been deceiving his tenants. Despite being in love with the owner's daughter, Madge, Marvin joins forces with the tenants to expose the corrupt planters.
