Lost Boys of Sudan background

Lost Boys of Sudan

Two Sudanese refugees, orphaned as young boys in a brutal civil war, embark on an extraordinary journey from Africa to America.

Orphaned in one of Africa's cruelest civil wars, two Sudanese boys, Peter Dut and Santino Chuor, survived lion attacks and militia gunfire to reach a refugee camp in Kenya. They were later chosen to come to America, where they found themselves confronting the abundance and alienation of contemporary American suburbia.
