King O'Hara's horse-drawn hansom cab business thrives in Central Park, but his ailing horse's sudden death sets off a chain of events. His friend Wilbur Hoolihan inadvertently kills the horse with candy, upsetting the clients. Wilbur sets out to find a new horse, rescuing a lost one and giving it to King. Unbeknownst to them, the new horse is famous racehorse Tea Biscuit, which soon showcases its exceptional spirit and speed. Tea Biscuit is entered in a prestigious horse race in Saratoga, leading to unexpected complications.
