Island of Lost Men background

Island of Lost Men

In the heart of the Malaysian jungle, a Chinese general's mysterious disappearance sparks a quest for redemption as his cabaret-singing daughter sets out to uncover the truth behind his vanishing act, fueled by a desire to clear his name and restore his honor.

In a reimagined take on the 1933 classic "White Woman," a Chinese cabaret singer named Kim Ling arrives in the Straits Settlements, seeking her father, a general accused of embezzlement. She teams up with Gregory Prin, a ruthless gun-runner who rules over a jungle empire, and agrees to join him on a search for her father, suspecting he's being held captive by Prin.
