The Sharma brothers, Brijmohan, Jagmohan, and Manmohan, run a garage in Bombay. Manmohan falls for a customer, Renu, while Jagmohan meets Renu's friend, Sheila. The brothers keep their relationships secret from Brijmohan, who despises women and forbids them from getting involved with them. However, things take a turn when Manmohan discovers Renu is arranged to marry Prakashchand, the son of Raja Hardayal Singh.
