In 2020, Professor Thom Archer, an environmental scientist, discovers that Halo, a corporate energy company, is causing the Greenland Glacier to melt. Despite his warnings being ignored, Archer travels to the Arctic to gather conclusive evidence. Upon arrival, he realizes the gravity of the situation and rushes back home to protect his family. However, the glacier collapses, resulting in catastrophic consequences, and the world is hit with extreme weather patterns, leading to a sudden and severe decline in global temperatures.
