In 1874 Montana, a Blackfoot woman named Walks Far Woman, played by Raquel Welch, seeks vengeance against two men who murdered her husband. However, after taking revenge, she is shunned by her own tribe. She finds a new home with the Sioux tribe, her mother's people, and attempts to rebuild her life.
