In the small town of Hamlin, USA, circa 1970, a peculiar infestation of rats takes over, prompting an unlikely hero, the Pied Piper, to rock his way out of town with his electric guitar. However, the mayor's refusal to compensate him for his services sets off a chain reaction of chaos.
