Japan's greatest Samurai, Takezo, returns to Kyoto after years on the road, seeking to challenge the leader of the region's finest Kendo school. Despite Otsu waiting for him, he has other intentions, deliberately walking into ambushes set up by the school's followers to prove his valor and skill. Meanwhile, Akemi expresses her desires directly, while Sasaki Kojiro, a young and confident fighter, observes Takezo, determined to dethrone him.
