Oscar and Lucinda

In 19th century England, Oscar, a devout yet unconventional Anglican priest, struggles to find his place in society despite his innate goodness.

In mid-19th century England, a young Anglican priest named Oscar, with a pure soul, joins the Church of England despite his strict Pentecostal upbringing. Meanwhile, Australian heiress Lucinda, desperate to break free from societal constraints, buys a glass factory to build a glass church and transport it to the remote settlement of Bellingen. The two meet on a ship and, outcasts from society, form an unlikely bond. Both passionate gamblers, Lucinda bets her entire inheritance that Oscar can transport the glass church to the Outback safely, and he accepts the challenge, leading to a life-changing journey.
