In 1974, Martha Moxley, a teenager, moved to Belle Haven, Connecticut, only to be murdered on Mischief Night, the eve of Halloween. The case remained unsolved for 22 years. Mark Fuhrman, a former LA detective, and his partner Stephen Weeks investigated the case to write a book, despite locals' resistance. With the help of retired detective Steve Carroll, they uncovered the killer and a web of power and money that sought to cover up the murder.
