Crooked Sheriff "Iron Mike" Haines and blacksmith "Hands" Weber are partners in crime, robbing stages, silver mines, and framing innocent ranchers and cowhands for their nefarious deeds.

A corrupt sheriff and a blacksmith partner in crime, framing innocent victims and stealing valuables. They plan to rob a stage and frame Red Ryder, but their scheme goes awry and the sheriff is killed. The sheriff's college-bound son takes over his father's role, unaware of his dad's wrongdoing, and vows to avenge his death. The blacksmith points to Red as the killer, and the son sets out to capture him.
