A deaf and mute couple from a Goan village, Joseph and Flavy, welcome their hearing and speaking daughter Annie into the world. Years later, they have a son, Sam. Annie's life revolves around music. However, their happiness is short-lived as they face a crisis when Joseph's mother Maria passes away, followed by the death of Sam. Joseph's faith in God begins to waver, and Annie's passion for music fades away. It isn't until she meets Raj that she starts to rediscover her love for music. The two fall in love, but their relationship is put to the test when Joseph disapproves due to Raj's Hindu faith and the fact that he is not from Goa, forcing Annie to make a difficult choice between her family and her love.
