Tony Hall, a student filmmaker, is a perfectionist who struggles with self-doubt despite his classmates recognizing his talent. He relies on his friends, including his girlfriend Melisse, for support, but his arrogant attitude often puts him at odds with others, including a professor who tries to warn Melisse about the dangers of dating Tony. As Tony works on a new project, he begins to use unethical practices, filming real life situations without consent and manipulating reality for his own purposes, leading to a question of whether his talent will ultimately alienate those around him.
