A group of mercenaries embarks on a perilous mission to destroy an enemy arms depot near the end of the French phase of the Vietnam War. Led by a Eurasian smuggler, Lucky Legs, they must navigate through treacherous enemy territory to reach the Chinese border. Along the way, Lucky Legs forms a bond with Major Cham, a Eurasian guerrilla leader, and uses her connections to gain access to the base. Meanwhile, Sergeant Brock, the racist father of Lucky Legs' son, must confront his own prejudices as the group faces numerous challenges. Will they succeed in their mission, and will Brock's heart change before it's too late?
