Shinichi escapes his problems and fears, and after praying to the Kawakami oak tree, finds himself in ancient feudal Japan during a battle in the Kasuga province. He meets the samurai Demon Ijiri, a skilled warrior and failed lover of Princess Ren, who is forced to marry Lord Takatura for the sake of her kingdom. The arrival of Shinichi's family from the future reveals that the Kasuga province never existed in history, allowing Princess Ren to be freed from her duty. However, Lord Takatura's rejection sparks a fierce battle.
