Santiago Morales, a 30-year-old man, struggles to cope with the sudden loss of his wife Viviana. To maintain order in his life, he creates a to-do list to end his life, but his nosy roommate intervenes, saving him from death. When that plan fails, Santiago turns to a disgraced biologist, his landlord, to help him clone Viviana. He tries to set up a makeshift biology lab using household appliances and eBay purchases, and attempts to convince his roommate to become the surrogate mother to the clone.
