In the movie, a young girl named Anna's life is disrupted when her aunt and cousin move in with her family. Before their arrival, Anna was a happy child living in a big house with a loving nanny and attending catechism class at a Catholic school. However, her parents' newfound political beliefs, influenced by their Spanish relatives, bring about significant changes to Anna's life.
