In 1942, British pilot Jimmy Briggs crashes his aircraft in occupied France and immediately evades Nazi pursuit. He meets young Nina, a part-Jewish agent carrying crucial information, and makes a pact to bring her back to Britain. He is aided by code-named Vincent, an agent working alongside him. The duo navigates across France as S.S. Officer Lutzig and the ambivalent Abwehr Sgt. Gratz relentlessly pursue them.
