A former CIA agent is approached by a Greek operative, Venaxas, who proposes a joint operation to reveal the location of a Russian secret police official hiding in London to the CIA.

A former spy is fired from his job in London after defending his assistant, who was caught selling secrets to the Russians. He is later approached by a Greek operative who offers to sell information about a Russian secret police official hiding in London. The plan goes awry when both the CIA and KGB become desperate to get their hands on the defector, leading to a series of double-crosses and murders.
