The Last Legion background

The Last Legion

In a crumbling Roman empire, a young prince named Romulus Augustus sets out on a treacherous journey to Britain to find a loyal legion of followers.

In 460 A.D., Mira, a skilled warrior from Kerala, India, was recruited by Spanish royalty and relocated to Constantinople to assist Roman Commander Aurelius. Their mission was to help 12-year-old Romulus Augustus Caesar escape from prison in Capri after his parents were killed. Mira, Aurelius, and a priest, Ambrosinius, successfully completed the escape plan, delivering Romulus to Senator Nestor. However, Nestor planned to betray Romulus, forcing them to flee to Britannia, where they would face Vortygn, a formidable warrior determined to obtain a powerful sword and kill Romulus.
