A mysterious woman with a Spanish accent hires Johnny Strange to dispose of a corpse, a notorious gossip columnist, and then knocks him unconscious. When he wakes up, he's interrogated by Det. Lt. Webb, who suspects one of several potential suspects, including a nightclub manager, a singer, a housekeeper, a groundskeeper, and two beautiful blondes.
