In Thailand, a ancient ritual is believed to cheat death and bring good luck, where participants lie in coffins. Sue, a bride-to-be, leaves her fiancé behind in Hong Kong to seek treatment for lung cancer and miraculously recovers. However, her fiancé passes away. Meanwhile, Chris, a skeptic, participates in the ritual to help his beloved Mariko. But he panics in the confined space and dies for 6 minutes and 42 seconds. Sue and Chris then experience bizarre visions and strange occurrences. They seek the help of Professor Thanachai, who advises them to repeat the burial to resolve their issues and break the curse.
