Django, a retired gunfighter, is murdered in his cottage by a mysterious visitor who mentions the name Thompson. Years later, his son Jeff Tracy, now a skilled marksman, sets out to avenge his father's death and find Thompson, who ordered the killing. His quest leads him to Topeka, where a bitter feud between Clay Ferguson and Thompson threatens to engulf the county. As Jeff navigates the treacherous landscape, he's aided by Father Gus Fleming, a former gunslinger turned priest, who tries to steer him away from a path of revenge and violence.
