A legendary sword, once given to the king of Aquiles to bring justice, is now sought by the god who originally bestowed it. The king, determined to protect the sword, refuses to relinquish it, even at the cost of his own life. Meanwhile, the goddess Dehamira, who had spoken on the king's behalf, is imprisoned in a fiery circle, her divine powers stripped away. Only a human strong enough to free her can release Dehamira and restore her privileges. Prince Ator, now 18, obtains the sword from the cunning sorcerer gnome Grindl and embarks on a perilous journey to rescue Dehamira and save his people, battling fearsome dragons and fantastical creatures along the way.
