A strong, beautiful, and independent-minded young girl from Malibu named Willow sets out to find her father, a rugged cowboy, in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. She discovers him breaking and selling wild horses to make a living, and as they struggle to understand each other's ways, Willow forms a bond with an untamable mustang named Bravo, determined to set it free. However, their rivals, Grizz and his son Duke, also seek to claim the beautiful mustang.
