In 1950s Prague, a group of individuals from different walks of life, including a professor, prosecutor, dairyman, saxophonist, barber, and young cook, are reeducated by working in a scrapyard filled with industrial waste. The yard also houses female prisoners serving a year for attempting to defect.
Larks on a String
In the late 1940s, three individuals from different walks of life - a professor, a saxophonist, and a milkman - are forced to work together in a junkyard as part of a unique rehabilitation program targeting perceived "bourgeois elements".
