A group of small-time crooks, led by Pop and Mom Cobb, pull off a small scam, then stumble upon a lucrative opportunity when they find a wallet with a bank appointment. They put one of their own in the bank, planning to escape with the deposits, but after attending Sunday church services, they decide to go straight. However, when one of the group tries to take the money, they catch up with him at the border and return to town as heroes, ultimately choosing a life of rural domesticity.
